I remember elementary, sitting in the classroom afraid to raise my hand because I was afraid I had the wrong answer. Most times ended up that I was correct but someone else who was more confident in themselves would get rewarded.

Not once did I ever go to a school dance in Middle or High School. I was always afraid that I'd be the one sitting alone with no one to talk to.

I was never very involved with extracurricular activities because I never wanted to be in competitions, afraid I'd screw up AND have it recorded.

I kept quiet about my true feelins about people and it always ends up that I never get to say what I really wanted to say.

I'd be here for hours if I list every situation that I should have, could have, and would have done something else different. But now I live a little differently;

I sing in front of people like I'm Mariah Carey. I don't care if every single note I sing is off key.

I dance at all the wrong moments and if there are consequences it's alright because I've learned to never regret what has brought you happiness.

I say what's on my mind because I'm so over keeping my precious thoughts inside my head! You can say it's called easy but it's not because it's never easy sharing your thoughts, but I'd rather have everyone know what I think than have that one person never know how I felt.
