First cut is the first song!!

Before I tell you guys my big news, I just want to inform you that my internet connection SUCKS! It keeps going off line and it's slower than as slow as slow can get <--- makes sense, right? u Well now that you're informed on my connection problemo, I can finally tell you my event of the week which just occurred over the last 5 minutes. Of course, I can't just straight through tell you what it is, I have to give you the introduction... after all, this is a blog! I was going through my music folder, trying to find some songs that I haven't played in a while. I went through a few songs because finally playing The First Cut is The Deepest by Sheryl Crow. I listened to the song a few times, I like songs that I know words to... it makes me feel like a rock star singing in front of my laptop acting like I'm recording a video for YouTube, just my thing. ANYWAYS, I decided to go Google the chords for the song. The chords were pretty simple, they were three of the few notes that I know. While all this was happening, I just so happened to have my guitar next to me :) I picked up my guitar and began playing. It took me about fifteen minutes but I've got the song down, sort of kind of. I've got the notes down but my strumming is still awkward and I still can't switch fingers for the notes fast enough. I'll work on that.

I am so happy! I'd like to look at the chords again but my internet connection is being stupid. I'll also have to wait to be able to press the 'publish post' button until my internet decides that it's a good time to work.

Right now, I am watching Mom untangle the stereo wires behind the television. I just have this crazy feeling that she's getting ready to be upset, start cursing the wires then she'll be in a bad mood until she finally gets the wires untangelized... which, unfortunately, could be a while. It took me a couple of minutes to write this paragraph and she hasn't started to get upset, but it's coming! I just know so :)

So while I am waiting to start hearing curse words from the living room, I decided that I'd just start a completely RANDOM topic!

I have a younger cousin, her name is Jasmine and she's just a little over two years old. She is so adorable and I've gotten into a habbit of spoiling her! Nearly everytime I come home, I have candy for her or give her money to buy ice candy from the neighbor's. Everytime she see's me, she'll yell 'Aunty!'. I keep reminding her that I'm her cousin and not her aunt but that still doesn't stop her from calling me 'Aunty!' so I've given up trying to change that... I've decided that I'll just wait until she's older to break the news that I'm not her aunt. Anyways, there are times when I don't know to be annoyed by her or laugh because of her adorableness. After school, I'll chill at my grandma's house, that's where they live, but when I want to leave I can't because Jasmine will cry. And there are times when all it takes is a kiss for her to let me go and then there are other times when I have to sneak through the back gate to leave. Sometimes I like to take her out with me to McDonald's or if my mom asks me to do something in downtown. I try to do it around lunch time when her two older brother and sister are at school. It's difficult trying to take them all at the same time since they are all under the age of ten. Jasmine is very well behaved in public and it's easy to take care of her, except for the times when I can't understand her and she's screaming and I'm freaking out because I don't speak Todler. She loves riding in the jeep. What I don't understand about her though is that when I take her to McDonald's or Jollibees, she doesn't like playing in the play area. She throws I fit when I try to get her to play. I've given up on that.

Well my mom has managed to get the wiress untagleized without one curse word! Yepee!

After all this blogging and getting mad at my internet router, I've gotten hungry. So now I'm eating my cup noodles. Thanks Billy for getting me hooked on these things! When Billy was sick, his girlfriend bought him a whole bunch of 'get better' food including the cup noodles. He didn't finish the cup noodles so I ate the last cup and I begger Mom to get me a stock of it. Hahah, well this is my last one so I guess I'll have to go shop for more, maybe tomorrow or hopefuly some time this week. I have one almost every night!

"Oh yeah, I love my chicken sotanghon chicken noodle cup!"

"Cup noodles for the rock stars in life!"

"I love my noodles so much, the boiling water doesn't bother me a bit!"
... okay, so maybe that wouldn't be such a good line to put in a commercial :/

"So try Lucky Me's Chicken Sotanghon cup noodles today!"
