For my colors, I have set my mind to purple, gold and white or maybe light creme. I want purple and creme to be the main colors and gold for the details because I find that too much gold makes my eyes sore. There will be different shades of purple, mostly light and nothing too dark that it'd be mistaken for blue or black. What were the colors for your party?
I want to wait to start deciding my final dress. The event is quite a while away and if I decide too soon I might not be fully happy with what I end up wearing. I like the idea of strapless and puffy at the bottom... but not like a mermaid's tail. I'd like creamy white with different shades of purple, no gold. I'd like embellishments on the top part of the dress. I want my high heels to be high but not a stiletto height. Maybe silver? And for accessories, I want nothing more than the gold necklace that Dad gave me last summer. It's a thin chain with a heart locket. I think it'd be perfect!
I'd like flowers to be on the center of tables. I want purple and white with accents of ink and yellow. Now I've never seen or heard of gold flowers but I still want gold as part of the bouquet. I've come up with an idea of tying big gold ribbon bows around the vases. I don't want anything big and flowers are strictly for the center of table tops. Where other people would have flower arrangements, I want balloons! Tons and tons of balloons!
