Absolutely nothing to blog about today. I have not left the house and nothing has happened at home. It is still hot, ooh and the electricity was out for an hour or so earlier.
I've been eating M&M's nonstop and I feel like throwing up now :/
Well, obviously the electricity is back on now so I'm going to go stand in front of the fan.... it is hot!

The big five-ohh.
Yayyy, go ahead celebrate.
I did with a mug of hot chocolate milk!
I watched part of the Royal Wedding earlier while eating dinner.
My favorite part was when
Prince William struggled
with the ring.
I busted out laughing for that one.
Today was a roller coastery day.
Mom and I argued a bit about me going to school this semester.
The original plan is that I take a break and it's the plan I want to stick with.

What else. Well my trusty resource (Facebook) implies that my best friend from the 6th grade got a tattoo of her boy friend's name and now might be pregnant. Am I the only one in my lovely group of friends that has not had a pregnancy scare? Geez :/
I wish her all the luck, and I totally asked that there be a Nicole somewhere in the baby's name if it is a girl! :)
Mom and I went out today for some furniture window shopping. We've thrown away the seats in our livingroom so it is bare now. I've been counting how many days I've had to sit on the floor and it is day 5! Wow, 50th post on day 5 of being couchless. Just a random thought.
We saw a really nice 3 piece set at Ocampos for P15,600. I'd like that to be our couch but I'll probably counting the days of being couchless for a while. Other than sofas, we looked at refridgerators, televisions and dining sets.
After the window shopping, Mom and I bought Shaomi and went home. It is getting very hot and humid here and long periods of time outside is not enjoyable.
Also, earlier this evening, I heard from Jamie over Facebook... that ole trusty Facebook. Anyways she's doing fine and they are going to go out for dinner tonight. I didn't get to ask her how was her flying experience.
When she was still in Olongapo, I saw her about once or twice a month. I was fine with that. But now I miss her so very much! It's a different feeling knowing someone you're emotionally close to is in another country. I want her to come home already!
I am about to go to bed because I am kinda sorta tired.
Here's to 50 posts!

It's raining, it's pouring!
Not really anymore, but it was earlier this evening!
Jamie already left and is somewhere in the sky, between Dubai and here.
I wonder how she is doing, I already miss her!
Because it rained, it is a bit more humid than the last 3 days.
The heat earlier was just killing me!
I couldn't sleep because I was so uncomfortable.
But when it got dark and it started to cool down,
I took a 2 hour nap!
I just finished updating our Family Events and Updates blog...
wait, I think it's Family Updates and Eventives.
I can't remember :/
Give me a break, I've only had it up for a couple of days.
Now I am doing a little more research for a vacation
to Mall of Asia in Manila.
I'd like to stay there for 3 days and 3 nights.
It'll be Mom, Billy and I.
I found a really nice hotel for a really good price.
I'm still trying to look for the catch.
I've gotten into planning events lately.
Parties and vacations.
I like laying out the plans and costs
and I'm quite addicted to
having a generous budget
but saving in certain aspects of the vacation
to be able to put that money towards
other aspects.
We could stay at a 2 star hotel, save P1,000/night
and put that towards things like ice skating in the mall.
I've chosen 3 hotels that I'll present to Mommy and Daddy tomorrow.
For now, I am moving to commuting expenses and activities.
Oh, life is good!

Vick's and some pain killers
Jamie is leaving tomorrow afternoon. I know she is nervous yet excited because it's what any other person feels right before a new adventure.
She is off to a new chapter in her life that I'm sure will be filled with happiness, challenges and experience. She asked me what I did when I felt home sick when I was staying with my aunt in Virginia. She wanted to know how to cure home sick. I had to think about it for a few seconds, I thought back to the times when I truly felt alone in a new place.
I told her that of course I kept in contact with old friends and family back home. That helped a little bit but what helped the most is that I made where I was my home. Rather than labeling where I was 'away from home' I decided to make it 'I am home.'
She came by here this evening to say goodbye and grab a few things. We had dinner together before she left. When was getting ready to leave, I out of nowhere thought to grab the camera. I didn't get a picture of her and I but I did get a picture of her and Mom talking. I'll post that up tomorrow.
Billy asked me to go with him tomorrow morning so he can say goodbye to her before she leaves. I didn't cry tonight but I know I'll be crying tomorrow when we're all together. It'll be like when I left for the States 11 years ago, but this time it'll be Jamie leaving. I am for sure going to take my camera.
Jamie is very nervous about flying. She's never been on a plane and movies like Snakes on A Plane doesn't help her case. I've put Vick's and some generic pain killers in a small baggie to give to her tomorrow. Both should help her during the trip.

Yahhhh-whoooo!
About to write another email update to the family. Although my aunts and I are not in good terms because we seldom agree, I still write to them.... it pisses them off :)
I would not do well in the Navy
My shower lasted an hour;
that's because I decided to shave tonight :)
I feel goooood!
I'm listening to Hannah Montana and fixing up the blog, life is good.

I'll wait a few days before I buy a new sim card
because I'll be buying a new cellphone too this weekend!
I am excited, but I'm not sure what color to get;
green, pink or purple?

So here's something new; I finally lost my sim card so I am now forced to buy a new one with a new number. I guess I'll have to move on too because I didn't memorize his number.
Oh, how I miss him...

Cousins' night out :]
Angelica went home last week but promised that she'd come back before Jamie left. Jamie picked them up from the province this afternoon, it was dark by the time they arrived in Olongapo. Billy went somewhere with Haydee and left while I was taking a nap. I thought he'd be coming home extremely late but he came back around 6:30. He asked if I wanted to go out for a little bit. I didn't know that Angelica was back in town until he told me that they were waiting for us at Jollibee's. I quickly got dressed and waited for him to finish getting ready, he was all sweaty so he wanted to jump in the shower before we left. We met Angelica, Aaron, Jamie and her boy friend. Jonathon left as soon as we got there, Jamie said his sister was calling him.
We rode the yellow jeepney to Brew's. Tonight was Aaron's first night at a bar! Brew's was still empty because it was a bit early. People don't usually start coming in until about 10.
Anyways, us girls had iced tea and Billy had a San Miguel light. We also ordered Lumpia Shanghai. Aaron already ate at Jollibee's so he wasn't really hungry, he just liked the tea.
We left and walked down Magsaysay. Most of the places on Magsaysay are bars and clubs so the streets are still alive at 9:30.
We went into second hand stores. Jamie is leaving soon, on Thursday to be exact! She's buying most of her things now because clothes and some other goods are cheaper here than in Dubai. She ended up buying to blazers. It was late in 'Mother and child's' time. Aaron's eyes were red from tiredness so we decided to go home. We took a jeepney from Brew's to the Caltex on St. Rita's corner. From there we took a tricycle to the corner of Forestry. My world here in Olongapo is a bit small. Almost all public vehicles know the name of every neighborhood and big businesses.
Angelica and I brought home Aaron. Billy took Jamie home so he could talk to Jonathon's sister. Jonathon's sister will be the one who'l traveling with Jamie and Billy I guess just wants to make sure she'll be aliright.
I am so glad we had a night out together before Jamie leaves. I am so blessed that everything that happened last year sent me home here because it would have been another long 2 years before I would see her.
Jamie is contracted in Dubai for 2 years. I'll be heading back to the states some time this year and I don't know when I'll be coming back to visit. I've had such a blast being here for the last 5 months so I hope that it won't be too long before I visit again.
I am very close to Jamie, Angelica and Billy. Their mother, my aunt Malou, was the one who took care of me while I was growing up as a baby. Mom worked long hours at the bank but she knew my aunt Malou would take good care of me, and she did! Jamie, Angelica and Billy are my closest cousins, they're my undercover sibilings. Even though Angelica has had Aaron, I will always consider myself to be the baby of the bunch!... ALWAYS!
I'm hungry.
I woke up early today, around 9:30, because my phone was vibrating under my pillow.
Darius 4-way called me with Felecia and Jason.
Jason was only on the phone for a few minutes before he had to go.
After he hung up, we decided to 4-way Kelly.
Kelly answered and didn't recognize my voice,
Felecia and I wasn't going to tell her who I was but
Darius got left out of the plan and told her anyways.
It was funny talking to them and it made me happy.
I felt like I was with them again.
When I was living with my aunt in Virginia,
they were the only ones who could brighten my days.
I dreaded school vacations and snow days
because then I didn't see them.
I liked school in Virginia.
Freshman year was my favorite.
I really felt alive and I felt like I had everything I needed and wanted.
Not everything was perfect but I was content.
Darius and Felecia were and still are my guardian angels.
Oh yeah, I was going to write about how hungry I am
... but it's time to eat so I have to go!
