Woah, it's almost June! Dad's birthday is on the first. Too bad we're together again this year. It's been a couple of years since I've since him and I really miss him. Well that's alright, I know that I'll be seeing him for sure in September for MY birthday.
It's rainy season already and it sucks! The only positive is that it gives me a break from the year round summer heat in the Philippines. But as always, pros are always outweighed by cons. It floods in most parts of the Philippines, thank goodness that Olongapo City is not one of those places. Even though, the rain still makes it difficult to enjoy being outside. I wouldn't mind if rain came on its own, but it doesn't. When it rains; frogs, trash and unusal smells haunt everyone in the city. I hate frogs. They're slimy and gross, to top it they also hop around. That is why I don't go out after dark any more, I'm afraid one will vicously attack me or I will step on of the poor suckers and get my sandals and feet dirty >:P
I get money from Mommy and Daddy soon. Mom is also buying me a pair of parakeets. I am so excited! We used to have 2 parakeets but they died afte 2 years because I left thm outside and they got cold and died. There's is more to it than that, but who cares?
ANYWAYS, I'm finally going to be getting a new cell phone. Mine is still working and in great condition but I want something new. I've been asking for this cell phone that I saw at OCAMPOS. It's a cute, purple, Cherry Mobile phone. It is 1,300 Pesos, about 25 USD. Mom will get my old phone when I get my new one. My old one is great,it just needs a new cover. I'm actually really amazed with my phone, I've dropped more times than Einstein can count but it is still working! If you changed the cover, it'd look brand new. I changed my mind about getting the cell phone last month because I really, obviously don't need a new one but Mom's phone broke so it kind of made me push through with getting a new cell phone.
For the last couple of days, I've had this crazy sinus infection.I think it is due to the whether... (weather?) Let me tell you,Advil has made a profit off of me, It is the only pain killer I've been totally satisfied with! It works instantly! (Hey, I could totally be in one of their commercials!)
It's late, almost midnight, so I'm going to wrap things up. I'll try not to abandon y'all as long as I did:)

Nothing New;
This whole 'Nothing New' thing has become the routine of my life since I've been out of school. I want something new and exciting in my life! I want an adventure, hopefully it comes soon.
I'm definitely an adrenaline junkie but I don't know how I am going to get that around here. The biggest adrenaline source around here is a kiddie Ferris Wheel. I'm kind of thinking something a bit bigger than that though.

Skype.!!!
I am on Skype with Daddy. I love Skype, it helps keep the family in touch no matter the distance... and it's free! I am always up for trying something free.
He is planning Mom's and my vacation to Mall of Asia. He is scheduling it so that we go over his birthday 'week'. He has a lot more than the mall planned for us. He has the Luneta park and Manila Ocean park in mind for us.
Mom and I are going to the travel agency after I decide to take a shower. I'm waiting for her to get her hair dry so that Dad has someone to talk to while I am in the shower.
It has stopped raining and I must say that I'm a bit disappointed. I love sleeping to rain drops hitting the roof. But oh well, the storm has passed and it's back to the heat and humidity again!

Rain rain go away!!
It has been non-stop raining all day! The sky is gray and the temperature is nice. I really don't want the rain to go away, and it doesn't look like it's going anywhere either!
Mom and I fixed up the chickens and dogs, they needed to be moved because of all the rain! I got dirty so I took a shower. The water was freezing so I hurried!
If I were in Virginia, or anywhere else in the States, I'd be in the rain for hours! I love going out and dancing with friends, running around the streets and rolling in the mud. But I am not in America. In America there might be a few worms that come out when rain hits hard, it's different here. I've seen ugly frogs, black rats and heard of snakes. I bet they all would drown if they stayed under ground during a storm so they come out... when they come out, I stay in.
News of another victory of Pacquiao still circulates all over the country... and probably all around the world too. We had family and friends come over yesterday to watch the fight. It was such a big deal that even Grandma and Grandpa came to watch it! Grandma can barely see now but she still loves to watch boxing and wrestling. She was being silly and said that she was rooting for Mosley. She said that if Mosley lost, she'd buy everyone pizza. We're all still waiting for our pizza... I don't think it's coming though :/
It was also Mother's Day yesterday! I am such a bad daughter, I didn't get Mom anything but hugs and kisses. In elementary, we'd spend hours in the classroom making crafts to take home for Mommy's Day. Our homework would be to make her breakfast in bed, of course with adult supervision. I'll make it up to her next year :)
It is Billy's dayoff today. If it were any other day I'd look forward to going out with him. Maybe a few hours at Brew's our a movie.. but it is raining! And we've established that I am not going out in the rain. I hope he stays home instead, I get so bored at home when it is just me and Mom.
Our vacation is this month! Mom, Billy and I are suppose to be going to the Mall of Asia. We'll be staying in Manila for 4 days and 3 nights. Dad has a lot planned for us, including a detour stop at UST on our way home. He wants me to look at colleges for when I come back next year. I don't I'm ready for college yet, I want to work for a few years before I go back to schooling. Hopefully we can work something out.
Next week Mom is planning to visit her friend and aunt in Manila. It'll be a daytrip. She wanted me to come but decided it'd be so much better if I stay home because it would save so much money. Billy has work at night so I'll be home alone from 5 PM to whenever Mom comes back. She's giving me 500 pesos so that I don't go hungry for the day, I think I will just end up going out. I know my way around town and Mom doesn't mind.

Ring ring!
I don't even remember the last time I hear a phone ring like that since I watched a movie from the 1940's. My cell phone ring tone is one that came with the phone, I think it's Nokia's standard ring... whatever it is, it doesn't go ring ring. What's your ring tone?
Last night, right before I was going to jump in bed, my phone rang, rung?, and it was Darius calling! It was already midnight but I knew that it would be a long night because when you get Darius and I on the phone... you've got yourself a very expensive phone bill.
I was right, we were on the phone for about 3 hours. We went through everything... from the memories to the promises to the plans and it even brought me back to singing Hannah Montana. We gossiped, did a bit of rapping and the whole thing got me laughing like a lunatic.
The humor apparently carried on into my sleep because I woke up this morning and Mom was right in front of me giving me this crazy look. I was laughing in my sleep! Now usually I am a very quiet sleeper. Once I fall asleep I usually don't move and I NEVER kick... and certainly don't talk. But this morning, I guess the laughter from the night carried over. I know I had a dream about my dog Beanie and I was laughing at something he did or was doing.
Tomorrow is the big fight! Pacquiao vs. Mosley. Go Pacquiao!!!! It'll be night time in Vegas but that's morning here in the Philippines. We have family coming over and it's pretty much a big deal for everyone around here... including me! Apparently the nation's crime rate goes down for the day because even the criminals look forward to his fight.
And thanks to Yahoo, I've got my hopes up to see pictures or videos of Bin Laden's death. Sounds weird but that man truly deserves what has been handed to him. I am so thankful that I did not loose anyone in the 9/11 attack but I do sympathize with the ones who were unfortunate.

The sky is orange.
I was suppose to be leaving to go back to the States tonight. The plane I'm suppose to be on is scheduled to leave midnight. Now, I am not on that plane because the process of renewing my passport got in the way. It wasn't really the process, but the wait. The machine that makes passports in Manila broke and so what was suppose to take 3 weeks practically took 9. Mom canceled the flight not knowing that the passport would come in the day before it. The passport has been delivered to the travel agency that we used but they still need to take it to DSWD and to the department of tourism. Telling you why would be a long story so to save me time I'll just say that it'll take a few more days before I can actually hold my passport.
So with that said, my new flight date is September 07.... the day after my birthday!! I am excited to be seeing my Dad and friends again. I hope that I'll be traveling alone again, I loved it when I came home to the Philippines... it was a great experience.
